Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank was founded as a result of the amalgation of four RRBs sponsered by Syndicate Bank in the state of Karnataka. The bank performs its operations under Government of India. There are approximately 425 branches of the bank present in the nine districts. The bank also performs several other activities except the banking business such as conducting free health check up camps, running a free clinic at one of the villages in its area of operation, distributing in reielf camps and also providing electricity to villages.

Eligible Indian Nationals are invited to apply for the positions of Officer Junior Management Grade (Scale-I), Officers Middle Management Grade (Scale-II), Officer Middle Management Grade (Scale-II) and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) in Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank.

1. Recruitment of Officer Junior Management Grade (Scale-I):
No. of posts: 94 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 18 to 28 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with proficiency in Kannada Language and computer knowledge.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 14500-25700 per month.

2. Recruitment of Officer Middle Management Grade (Scale-II):
No. of posts: 5 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 21 to 32 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with atleast 50% marks in aggregate with 2 years experience as an Officer in any bank.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 19400-28100 per month.

3. Recruitment of Officer Middle Management Grade (Scale-III):
No. of posts: 3 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 21 to 40 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with atleast 50% marks in aggregate with 5 years experience as an Officer in any bank.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 25700-31500 per month.

4. Recruitment of Office Assistant (Multipurpose):
No. of posts: 184 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 18 to 28 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with proficiency in Kannada language and knowledge of computer skills.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 7200-19300 per month.

SC/ST/PC categories candidates: Application fee of Rs. 50 only.

The payment of this application fee must be done by the means of payment challan which can be easily downloaded from the official website of bank’s website. The payment challan must be deposited in any branch of Syndicate Bank in Karnataka or by NEFT.

Selection Process:

The written test for the post of Officers (JMGS-I, MMGS-II and MMGS-III) will be held on 6 November 2011. The written test for the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) will be held on 20 November 2011.
