Career avenues are open in public and private sectors for BHMS graduates. Recruitment for jobs in the public sector is conducted through the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and State Public Service Commissions. Aspirants can seek employment opportunities in public hospitals and dispensaries. Public health care centers and rehabilitation centers also provide employment opportunities for BHMS graduates.
Candidates can also choose to become faculty members in government colleges after completing BHMS course. Candidates are required to clear the UGC NET for employment in colleges. Aspirants can also seek employment as health officers and community medical officers in various government organizations and pharmacies. Aspirants can expect remuneration between Rs 15,000 to Rs 39,000 per month.
A number of job opportunities are available in the private sector. Private hospitals, dispensaries, nursing homes, polyclinics, health centers and private clinics require Homeopathy doctors who have completed a graduation in BHMS. Job opportunities are also available in private colleges offering BHMS and allied courses. The pay scale in private sector organisations is between Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 per month. Graduates can earn up to around Rs 1 lac depending on the establishment and experience in the field.
Aspirants are required to clear the GRE/TOFEL/IELTS examination to work abroad. Graduates can also pursue research in related fields.

My daughter got 10000 rank in Eamcet of AP.She will not get admission in BDS/MBBS.trying for admission in BSC (micro biology) or ( Bio tech) or BZC (Botany/zoology/chemistry).getting advice to join her in BHMS.Lot of confusion and in tense.please advice which course is better for her.
