Pattern and Syllabus for CUCET — M.Sc (Physics)

Central Universities Entrance Examination (CUCET) is organized by central University of Rajasthan for admission process. The exam is conducted for specific subjects in science, arts, engineering, technology, and so on. For CUCET — M.Sc (Physics) questions are asked from two parts, Part A and Part B. Part A comprise questions from topics like Analytical skills, English Language, and General awareness where as subject specific questions are asked for Part B. Syllabus for the test cover topics such as mechanics, optics, thermodynamics, statistical mechanics, quantum mechanics, x-rays, nuclear physics, and molecular spectroscopy.

Pattern for CUCET — M.Sc (Physics)

There are two parts for the entrance test, Part A and Part B. Objective model questions are asked for both the sessions. Part A comprises of 35 questions which should be completed within 45 minutes. One mark is allotted for each question without any negative marking. The session covers questions from the following topics.

Part B comprises of subject related questions from topics studied under graduation. There are 65 questions in this section. Time allotted for the completion of this section is 75 minutes. In this section also, 1 mark is given for each question with out any negative marking.
