Pay scale for Project Fellow Government Jobs
A candidate appointed for the position of Project Fellow will be offered with the responsibilities of implementing a particular project for the organization. Normally, people who aim at becoming project managers will have to take up the initial position as project fellow in most of the cases. Many organizations engaged in carrying out different projects for their clients, appoint candidates for the position of Project Fellow.
Some of the organizations like private organizations, educational institutions, non-profit organizations and even public sector organizations appoint candidates for the position of Project Fellow. As far as pay scale for the position of Project Fellow in government jobs in India is concerned, government organizations recruit candidates for this position for a consolidated pay of Rs. 8000 per month. However, this is not the standard followed by all the government organizations.

Recently the following government organizations called for applications from eligible candidates for the position of Project Fellow for the consolidates pay scale of Rs. 8000 per month:

• NCERT
• School of Earth Sciences
• Nagpur University
• Maharshi Dayanand University
Difference in pay scale:
Even though, the aforesaid government organizations offered a standard pay scale of Rs. 8000 per month for the position of Project fellow, some organizations announced a different and higher pay scale and the pay scale offered by the respective organizations are given below:
• Punjabi University – Rs. 16000+15% HRA
• Haryana State Remote Sensing Application Centre – Rs. 18000+Rs.1800 HRA
• Solar Energy Centre – Rs. 12000 for UG Degree holders & Rs. 14000 for PG Degree holders
• Indian Institute of Technology – Rs. 10000 pm
• National Institute of Malaria Research – Rs. 15000 pm
• Haryana Space Applications Centre – Rs. 12000 pm
Therefore, candidates appointed for the position of Project Fellow can expect a minimum pay brand of Rs. 8000 per month.
Eligibility requirement to apply for the position of Project Fellow:
Most of the organizations require that candidates must be PG degree holders in the respective field of project in which they are going to be engaged. For instance, for the position of Project Fellow in National Institute of Malaria Research, the institution required that candidates must be Master of Science degree holders in life science/environmental science/chemistry with a reasonable experience of working in chematography and pesticide analysis techniques.
Age Requirement:
For applying to the position of Project fellow in government-run educational institutions and universities, candidates must be between the age group of 28-35 years. Even, the maximum age limit is 40 years in some organizations.
