Prathyusha Engineering College is a venture of the Prathyusha Group under the Prathyusha Educational Trust. The college is led by a group of renowned people who have kept marks in the fields of industry and education. The college’s motto is “Shradhavan Labhyathe Gnanam” which in English means those who truly strive for knowledge will surely attain it.

Infrastructure

The college is located in a lush green environment of Aranvoyal Kuppam, which is around 30 kms from Chennai. The entire college campus presently stretches over a region of 45 acres. A spacious library cum reading room is also provided. This remains open in all the working days. The students are allowed to borrow journals and books for some stipulated time. An air conditioned computer lab having around 200 computers, equipped with latest software and hardware is also provided. Internet facility is also available. A tightly secured hostel, separate for boys and girls, is also available. Accommodation of over 150 girls and 400 boys is possible.

Courses Offered

The following under graduate courses are offered in the college- Industrial Biotechnology, Information Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Bio Medical Engineering. The post graduate courses include- Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Placements

The college has able placement officers who are constantly keeping the students upgraded and aligned as per the requirement of the industries. The multi national companies which recruit students include- iGate, Infosys, CTS, VSNL, BirlaSoft, ICICI Prudential, AIG System, Sutherland, L&T Infotech, EDS Mphasis, and Amara Raja Batteries.
