Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was formed on November 3, 1982 as a government board of education for school level in the country. The headquarter of the board is in New Delhi. The first ever board set up in India was the UPBHS i.e. Uttar Pradesh Board of high School in the year 1921. All Kedriya Vidyalayas, Private schools and the schools in the NCT of Delhi are affiliated by Central Board of Secondary Education. The final examinations are conducted by the board in every spring for Class 10 and Class 12.
Job Profile:
Central Board of Secondary Education is inviting applications from eligible Indian Nationals for making recruitment on the posts of Teachers (Primary or Elementary level). Candidates will be recruited in all schools of Central Government like Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya, Tibetan Schools etc. A Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2012 will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education for making recruitment on the specified positions.
Eligibility:
Candidates must follow all the eligibility conditions set by the CBSE for the posts of Primary/ Elementary Teachers. The age criteria is strictly need to be followed by the candidtes i.e. candidates should have age more than the prescribed minimum age limit but less than the prescribed maximum age limit. There may be relaxation provided to the reserved categories candidates as per the rules of Government of India.
Educational Qualification:
Primary Teachers: Candidates are required to possess the minimum educational qualification i.e. Senior Secondary or its equivalent with atleast 50% marks in aggregae. Candidates should also have passed or appearing in the final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Elementary Teachers: Candidates are required to possess the minimum educational qualification i.e. Graduation with atleast 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates should also have passed or appearing in the final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education.
No. of posts: Several posts are available.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the prescribed amount of salary.
Application Fee:
Candidates are required to submit the prescribed amount of application fee before making online application for the specified positions of Primary/ Elementary Teachers. The fee should be remitted by either credit/ debit card or through Demand Draft. In case, candidates are paying the application fee in the form of demand draft, then the demand draft should be drawn in any Nationalized Bank payable at Delhi. The demand draft should be made in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. Candidates must also write their name, address and telephone number on the back of the demand draft.
How to apply: Candidates can apply by either online or offline mode. After filling up the online application form, candidates should take out the print out of completed application form. The application form should then be submitted to the below mentioned address by Registered or Speed Post only.

What are the eligibility criteria related to age limit, academic qualification,professional qualification & and age limit a teacher requires to possess, to become a teacher of the pre- primary classes of a cbse board school ?

Sir, I have done 10 2 and now doing final year of JBT(2 year teacher training course) from haryana. Can I apply for any category of kvs teacher.
