In addition to the aforesaid, education institutions, different government-run educational schools and colleges in different states of India also recruit candidates for the position of teachers. Mostly, these posts are advertised in employment newspapers in such a way that eligible candidates can find their dream job in the government-teaching sector.

Education Qualification required for teaching positions in government schools/colleges:

Previously, before some years ago, most of the government schools required just a graduation for candidates applying to primary schools, but now irrespective of whether the teaching position is for primary or secondary educational institutions, government is looking for candidates with B. Ed degree.

Even government is looking for trained teachers and preference is given to teachers with some years of experience of working any private schools as teachers in the process of recruiting teachers for government schools.

The details educational requirement for primary, high schools and higher secondary schools is given below:

In the case of preschool teaching position, candidates with Montessori training is preferred.

The educational qualification preferred for teaching position in government primary schools is that candidates must have obtained certificates in secondary teacher training.

In the case of high school teaching positions, it is essential that candidates must be UG degree holders in any subject and should also have acquired B. Ed degree.

In the case of higher secondary schools, it is essential that candidates must be PG degree holders in any subject and should also have acquired B. Ed degree.

Teaching sector has a wide scope for development in terms of pay package. Apart from this, candidates can also acquire wide knowledge in different fields.
