Re: Which is the best career for BSc B.Ed Mathematics major and chemistry minor graduate
Since you have compelted Bachelor of Education after B.Sc, I would suggest that teaching is the perfect career option for you. Most candidates after completing Bachelor of Education course, pursue for the government teaching job.
You should do the same. What you need to do is apply for the Teachers Eligibility Test. This test is conducted by all the Indian states to recruit teachers for government schools funded by the state government. Similarly there is another test called Central Teachers Eligibility Test which is conductedby Central Board of Secondary Education on the behalf of central government. This test is conducted for teachers in Kendriya Vidhalaya, Tibetan Schools and other central government funded schools. The Teachers Eligibility Test is conducted by each state separately and is only valid in the particular state. On the other hand CTET is central level exam which is not eligible in the states. However if a state does not conducts Teachers Eligibility Test then it will have to recruit teachers based on the CTET exam. The idea behind these exams was to improve the quality of education in the government schools. This is why Human Resources and Development Ministry introduced the Teachers Eligibility Test. Eligibility 1. You must be of Indian origin. 2. A graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university. 3. A B.Ed degree after completion of graduation. 4. At least 55 percent marks in B.Ed 5. There is no age limit for TET exam. |
