Jharkhand JPSC Upgrade Secondary School comes under the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) under the Human resource Department in the Government of Jharkand. Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) was established with the aim of making a commission fully responsible for making the recruitment for the government posts in the state. The main objective of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) is to conduct written competitive examination and also the interviews for the selections of the candidates for any government posts in the state.

Job Profile:

Jharkhand Public Service Commission is going to conduct competitive Examination for making recruitment of eligible Indian Nationals on the vacant positions of Professor in different universities comes under the Government of Jharkhand. The vacancies are available in Kolhan University located at Chaibasa, Sibu Kanhu Murmu University located at Dumka and Nilambar Pitambar University located at Palamu.

1. Recruitment of Professor (Kolhan University, Chaibasa):
No. of posts: Only 22 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to possess Ph.D. degree in the concerned discipline with minimum 60% marks in aggregate at the preceeding degree level. Besides this, candidates are also required to possess a good academic record throughout his career. Minimum 10 years experience in the field of teaching or research is also required to be possessed by the candidates for applying for this post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

2. Recruitment of Professor (Sibu Kanhu Murmu University, Dumka):
No. of posts: Only 11 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to possess Ph.D. degree in the concerned discipline with minimum 60% marks in aggregate at the preceeding degree level. Besides this, candidates are also required to possess a good academic record throughout his career. Minimum 10 years experience in the field of teaching or research is also required to be possessed by the candidates for applying for this post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

3. Recruitment of Professor (Nilambar Pitambar University, Palamu):
No. of posts: Only 19 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to possess Ph.D. degree in the concerned discipline with minimum 60% marks in aggregate at the preceeding degree level. Besides this, candidates are also required to possess a good academic record throughout his career. Minimum 10 years experience in the field of teaching or research is also required to be possessed by the candidates for applying for this post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

Eligibility:

Interested candidates are required to have age within the prescribed maximum age limit i.e. 62 years or else candidates will not be considered eligible for the above mentioned positions. However, reserved categories candidates may get relaxation in the upper age limit.

Application Fee:

Candidates must pay the application fee in cash with the help of a payment challan form. The challan form can be easily downloaded from the official webiste of the commission. Candidates will have to fill up the payment challan and submit it alongwith the prescribed amount of application fee at any branch of State Bank of India.

Amount of application fee for all interested candidates is Rs. 650 only.
(Rs. 600 is the application fee + Rs. 50 as bank charges or post office charges)
