Honourable Governor of Orissa, Shri Murlidhar Chandrakant Bhandare is the Chancellor of the university. Professor Jitendriya Kumar Satapathy is the Vice Chancellor of the university. Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to have done Ph.D. in the concerned discipline from a recognized university with a good academic record throughout. Candidates should also possess the minimum years of experience in teaching or research field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

2. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
No. of posts: 6 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to have done Master’s degree in the concerned discipline from a recognized university with a good academic record throughout. Candidates should also possess the minimum years of experience in teaching or research field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs.6000.

3. Recruitment of Lecturer:
No. of posts: 17 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to have done Master’s degree in the concerned discipline from a recognized university with a good academic record throughout. Candidates should also possess the minimum years of experience in teaching or research field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

A Demand Draft of requisite application fee must be sent alongwith the application form by the interested candidates. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of Biju Patnaik University of Technology payable at Rourkela. The demand draft should be drawn on any Nationalized Bank.

General and OBC categories candidates: Rs. 500 only.

Selection Process:

Selection of best suitable candidates will be made only through the conduct of a Interview test on a specified date. Candidates will have to appear in the interview test in order to get selected for their desired position. Candidates must prepare themselves well enough to perform good at the time of interview test.
