Company profile: This institute was developed in 1948. It is an ISO certified institute indulged in road and transport research. Highway engineering, pavement design & maintenance, transport planning are the areas of its major work. It provides services for both private and public sector customers.

Job Profile: As a project assistant the candidates will be called upon to work on various projects. They will be required to carry out research work in different areas and carry out the development and designing work if so required.

Eligibility: Only the Indian candidates can apply. The age of a candidate must not exceed 28 years for level I & II and 30 years for level III. However, relaxation is available.

Educational qualification: For level I a first class diploma in Civil Engineering is required. Whereas, for level II and III a first class B.E or B. Tech degree is needed in Civil Engineering with a two year experience. Even a candidate with MCA/M.Sc degree can apply.

No. of posts: Project assistants at level I, II and III are required. The total no. of vacancies for project assistants is 20 and the no. of interns required is 18.

Pay scale: The stipend for level I project assistant is Rs7000 and for level II is Rs10000 and for level III is Rs12000. The stipend for interns is Rs11500.

Selection procedure: A committee will short list the candidates and then the candidates will have to appear in an interview.
