Institute profile: It is a reputed and a premier institute for research in the field of water science and allied fields. It works on physical, chemical, pollution aspects of water around India. It also provides support and consultancy to various organizations. It also undertakes various projects for new developments and research.  

Job profile: The project assistants will be required to work on projects and in the areas of chemistry, hydrochemistry, electronics and communications and life sciences. They will be required to support their seniors and execute project activities. The project assistants will be posted at Kochi.

Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 25 years for project assistant I and 28 years for project assistant II. However, the age is relaxable.

Educational Qualifications: A candidate must have B.Sc degree in Chemistry or M.Sc in hydrochemistry or a three years diploma in electronics/computer science or B.Sc in any branch of life sciences.

No. of posts: There are 4 posts in total which include 3 posts for project assistant I and 1 post for project assistant II.

Pay scale: The project assistants I will be given a monthly stipend of Rs8000 and the project assistant II will be given a monthly stipend of Rs12000.

Selection process: The candidates will have to appear for an interview.

How to apply: The candidates have to appear in a walk – in interview with their resumes and also the attested copies of their certificates and photographs.

Date of Interview: For project assistant I in chemistry the interviews will be held on 29th October 2009, for project assistant in hydrochemistry the interviews will be held on 4th November 2009, for project assistant and for electronics/computers will be held on 5th November 2009 and for project assistant in life sciences the interviews will be held on 12th November 2009.

The candidates must reach the institute and register themselves between 9.15 AM and 10 AM.
