Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd has invited applications for the recruitment of Medical professionals in Tamil Nadu. Those who have MBBS degree and professional experience are eligible to apply. Application fee is Rs. 250/-. Recruitment is carried out on the basis of personal interview.

Eligibility Criterion

Candidates satisfying the educational qualification are eligible to apply for the below mentioned posts in Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd.

Senior Medical officer (SMO): Candidates should have completed Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from any institute recognized by Medical Council of India. In addition to this, they should have completed post graduate degree or diploma in any of the following specializations.

• Orthopedics
• Anesthesiology
• Psychiatry
• Radiology
• Dermatology
• Ophthalmology
• Pediatrics

In addition to this, candidates should have post qualification experience for a minimum of 2 years. Those who have registered with State Medical Council or Medical Council of India are only eligible to apply. Upper age limit for application is 37 years.

General Duty Medical Officer: Minimum educational qualification for this post is Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from any institute recognized by Medical Council of India. In addition to this, candidates are required to have a minimum of one year post qualification practice or experience. Internship training will not be considered as professional experience. Those who are more than thirty two years of age are not eligible to apply for this post.

Age Reservations

Candidates belonging to other backward classes can avail relaxation in upper age limit for a maximum of 3 years. Those who are domiciled in the State of Jammu and Kashmir and who are belonging to Scheduled tribe as well as Scheduled caste can seek age relaxation up to 5 years as per the norms issued by Government of India.

Fee payment can be done by taking a Demand Draft in favor of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Thiruchirapally payable at Thiruchirapally. Apart from this, application fee can be remitted in any branches of State Bank of India. Fee payment challan can be downloaded from the website of the organization.

Those who have successfully submitted the online application form will receive a system generated acknowledgement slip, having a unique registration number.  They will be required to send the copy of completed application form to Sr. Dy. General Manager (HR), Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Thiruchirapally 620 014, Tamilnadu” within stipulated time. Short listed candidates will be called for interview via email.
