The Rizvi College of Engineering in Mumbai was set up by the Rizvi Education society. It was established in the year 1995. The institute is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). It is affiliated to the University of Mumbai.

Campus

The infrastructure of the college has enough to have an all round development of the individual. There is a seminar room which is fully air conditioned and has all the audio- visual aids and LCD’s for the seminars and the presentations to be organized. There is the library of the college that has almost all the books in the courses that it offers. There are more than 10000 volumes of books, journals and newspapers and magazines and periodicals. The computer labs of the college have got internet and all the connections and the latest version of software and printers.  There are the departmental labs apart from the common laboratories that serve the students to conduct their studies.

Courses Offered

There are four courses that the college offers. They are the Bachelor of Engineering in the field of Civil, Electronics, Mechanical and Electronics and Telecommunication. The intake in each of the course as specified by the AICTE is 60, which brings the total strength to 240.

Admission Procedure

The candidate should have the subject combination of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in his or her 12 and should have cleared the states entrance examination the MAH EN – CET or the AIEEE which is all India examination to get admitted to the college. The admission is made on the basis of merit obtained.

Placements

There is a placement cell working and getting the mechanical and the civil companies to the campus to recruit students. Also there are electronics and communication based companies that interview the students in order to recruit them.
