Safa College of Pharmacy came into existence as a self-financing minority institution in the year 2004 and the college was established by the Shadhan Educational Society with a view to cater to the need of pharmacy education in the local region. The college offers the best pharmacy education at the UG level with affiliation from the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University located in Hyderabad and with approval from the All India Council for Technical Education.

Course Details:

As mentioned earlier, the college offers pharmacy education at the UG level and the course offered is Bachelor of Pharmacy, which extends to a period of four years. Admission capacity of Safa College of Pharmacy for this course is 60 students per year.

Admissions:

Admission of students per year to the Bachelor of Pharmacy course offered by Safa College of Pharmacy is done on the basis of the Common Entrance Test called as EAMCET. Out of the total number of seats, 75% of seats are filled on this basis, while remaining 25% of seats are management quota seats filled by the management of the college. The prior 75% of seats are called as A category seats and remaining 25% of seats are called as B category seats.

How to apply:

Candidates meeting the eligibility requirement of completion of class 12 examination in science stream can get the application form from the office of the PCMB at Shadan Complex 6-2-978, Khairatabad, Hyderabad on payment of Rs.500 in the form of cash. Even application form can be downloaded from the website of the college at http://www.safapharma.com/admissions.htm and downloaded application must be filled in and submitted along with DD for Rs.500, which includes registration fee and cost of application to the PCMB Office.

Course fee:

The fee for A category seats will be fixed according to the guidelines of the Convener, while the fee for B category seats will be decided by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time.

The library at Safa College of Pharmacy is located in a spacious hall and the library subscribes to a wide range of periodicals and journals under various technical and scientific fields that will be of great use to the faculty members and students to develop their knowledge.
