Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology is ana autonomous institute of Department of Science and Technology which comes under the Minsitry of Science and Technology, Government of India. The institute has a vision of providing secured living in the Himalayan region. The major objective behind the establishment of the institute is to unravel the geological truths related to mountain building and also to improve understanding of geodynamic processes.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply for the posts of Scientist C, Scientist B and Stenographer Grade-I in Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology:

1. Recruitment of Scientist C:
Posts Available: Only 4 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 40 years.
Pay Scale: 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

2. Recruitment of Scientist B:
Posts Available: Only 4 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 35 years.
Pay Scale: 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

3. Recruitment of Stenographer Grade-I:
Posts Available: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 56 years.
Pay Scale: 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

Selection Process:

The selection criteria for the candidates for all the three specified posts includes a personal interview session with the selection committee.
