National Chemical Laboratory is located at Pashan Road, Pune. The laboratory has an urban campus. The laboratory came into existence in the year 1950 as a constituent member of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research. Mr. Sourav Pal is the present chairman of the laboratory. The laboratoy performs various research activities in the field of polymer science, organic chemistry, chemical engineering etc. The laboratory is comprises of total 200 scientific staff and 400 graduate students pursuing research towards doctoiral degrees.

Age Limit: Candidates should have age less than 32 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Ph.D. degree from a recognized university. Candidates with qualification less than the prescribed one, will not be considered eligible for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

2. Recruitment of Senior Technical Officer:

Age Limit: Candidates should have age less than 40 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to have done M. Lib. with atleast 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Candidates are also required to have atleast 9 years experience in computerized library of any research institute.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

3. Recruitment of Technical Officer:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age less than 30 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to possess B.E. or B.Tech in concerned discipline from a recognized university. Also, minimum 3 years experience in the relevant field si also need to be possessed by the interested candidates.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600.

4. Recruitment of Technical Assistant:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Candidates should have age less than 28 years.
Educational Qualification: B.Sc. degree in Science with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university, is the minimum educational qualification required to be possessed by the interested candidates.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.
