Profile:

National Environmental Engineering Research Institute was incorporated as a research institute under the Government of India. The major focus of the institute is on the water supply, sewage disposal and industrial pollution kinds of problems in post independent country. It is a part of a Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. There are five zonal laboratories of the institute situated at Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata.

Job Profile:

Candidates can apply for any of the below specified posts of Scientist and Technical Assistant in National Environmental Engineering Research Institute:

1. Recruitment of Scientist Group-4 (2):
No. of posts: Only 24 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set is 35 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

2. Recruitment of Scientist Group-4 (4):
No. of posts: Only 4 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set is 45 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 39100-67000 + Grade Pay of Rs. 8700.

3. Recruitment of Technical Assistant(Group-III):
No. of posts: Only 6 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit set is 28 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

Selection Process:

Selection of the candidates will be made only on the basis of the result of the personal interview test of the eligible candidates.
