Selection and Application Procedure for Recruitment in Indian Bank
Recruitment to the post of Specialized Officers in Indian Bank is carried out on the basis of group discussion and personal interview. Desirous and eligible candidates are required to apply in the prescribed application form by registered post. Application fee is Rs. 400/-.
Selection Procedure of Specialized officer in Indian Bank
Recruitment of specialized officer in Indian Bank is based on performance in group discussion and personal interview. Eligible candidates will be short listed as per their qualification. They will be sent call letter for personal interview. Candidates are advised to visit the official website of the bank so as to know the details about the date of interview. The organization is not responsible for non receipt of information.
Those who have received the call letter are required to bring originals of identity card, call letter and other supporting documents. Candidates will have to undergo certificate verification as a part of selection procedure. Those who have cleared this section will be short listed for Group Discussion. Candidates will be asked to speak about the given topic in group discussion. Their communication skill as well as knowledge about subject matter will be evaluated in this section. There will be specific marks for group discussion. Candidates will be called for personal interview. There will be questions so as to analyze the technical knowledge of the candidate. Apart from this, questions will be asked to measure candidates’ behavioral approach.
Final selection will be based on the composite scores obtained by the candidate in group discussion and personal interview. Those who get selection will be on probation for one year from the date of joining. They are required to execute a service bond of Rs. 1 Lakh for a period of 2 years.
Application Procedure
Eligible and interested candidates are required to apply in the prescribed application form. Application form can be downloaded from the official website of the organization. Candidates are required to pay Rs. 400/- as application fee. Those who are belonging to reserved category are required to pay Rs 50/- only. Fee payment can be done by taking a demand draft in favor of Indian Bank recruitment of Specialist officer –Nov 2012 payable in Chennai. Fully filled in application along with attested copies of supporting documents and details of fee payment should be sent by registered post to “Assistant General Manager (HRM), Indian Bank Corporate Office 254 – 260, Avvai Shanmugam Salai, Royapettah, Chennai 600 014”. In addition to this candidates are required to email the scanned copy of completed application form.
