Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital was established in the year 1970 under Government of NCT of Delhi. Initially, the hospital was started with only 50 beds but later it was extended upto 500 beds in the year 1987. The strength of beds were increased to 640 in the year 2008./ The hospital aims to provide specialized services to people of West Delhi. The hospital also imparts training to the Post Graduate and Under Graduate students. The hospital is located in West Delhi. The nearest metro station from the Hospital is Subash Nagar. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital is looking forward to recruit eligible and qualified on the vacant positions of Senior Residents and Junior Residents. Candidates will be recruited purely on regular basis. The posts of Senior Residents are available in the disciplines or departments of Medicine, Radiology, Microbiology, Nuero Anaesthesia, Opthalmology, Casualty, Neuro Surgery, Ortho, Opthalmology, Obs & Gyane., Paediatrics, Burn & Plastic Surgery and Skin.

Eligibility:

Senior Resident: Candidates are required to have age less than the prescribed maximum age limit set for the post i.e. 33 years as on 1 April 2012.

Junior Resident: Candidates are required to have age less than the prescribed maximum age limit set for the post i.e. 30 years as on 1 April 2012.

Relaxation for the reserved categories candidates in the upper age limit will be provided as per the rules of Government of India.

Educational Qualification:

Senior Resident: Candidates are required to possess Post Graduation degree or diploma in concerned discipline from a recognized institute or university. Candidates possessing MBBS degree with minimum 2 years of working experience in relevant field, are also eligible to apply for the specified post.

Junior Resident: The minimum educational qualification required for the post is MBBS degree from a recognized institute or university of MCI. Candidates must also have completed rotatary intership by the date of interview.

Pay Scale:

Senior Resident: Consolidated salary of Rs. 18750 per month alongwith the Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.
Junior Resident: Consolidated salary of Rs. 18750 per month alongwith the Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

Application Fee:

An application fee of Rs. 500 is need to be paid or submitted by the General and OBC candidates. No application fee is need to be paid by the candidates belonging to reserved categories i.e. SC/ST. The application fee must be paid in the form of a Bank Draft drawn in favour of Medical Superintendent DDU Hospital payable at New Delhi.
