Can I apply for IAS exam if I am a resident of MP?


I AM RESIDENT OF MADHYA PRADESH BIRTH DATE 28th SEPT 1981. CAN I APPLY FOR IAS EXAM IN 2013?

yes any Indian citizen who is a graduate is eligible to appear in IAS exam.

as per the birth date you mentioned, your age on 1-07-2013 will be 31 yrs and 9 months, so if you belong to general category then you are not eligible for IAS-2013..

but if you belong to obc or sc/st then you are eligible, as age relaxation is provide to these categories as below-

obc - 3 yrs.

sc/st - 5 yrs.
