Andhra Pradesh State Remote Sensing Applications Centre otherwise called as APSRSAC is a technical and scientific organization serving the state government of AP in the ITES of geographical information system and remote sensing and the centre generates crucial scientific information required for the development of the state. The centre has been identified as the nodal agency for the creation and maintenance of Natural Resource Information for the state.

Andhra Pradesh State Remote Sensing Applications Centre has called for online applications from eligible candidates for the position of Senior Resource Analyst (Hydrology) to work in one of its projects called as Tank Reliant Irrigated Area Development project and Tank Information System and here are the details regarding the notification issued in this respect.

Name of the Vacancy: Senior Resource Analyst (Hydrology)

Number of Vacancies: 22

Terms of employment: Appointment will be purely on contract basis and the position is purely temporary in nature.

Terms of Reference:

Terms of reference for the position of Senior Resource Analyst (hydrology) would be preparation of command, cascade and catchment boundaries, preparation of project report, rainfall analysis, analysis of tank memoirs data, field work, identification of feasible sites for cascades and tanks and hydrological analysis, monitoring of tank survey work and any other tasks pertaining to their project.

Educational Qualification and experience:

To apply for the position of Senior Resource Analyst (Hydrology), candidates must have completed their M. Sc in Hydrology/Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in civil engineering with at least three years of experience in water resources/hydrology with the help of GIS/RS Techniques.
