Shri Ramji Ravji Lalan College shortly called as Shr R.R. Lalan College came into existence in the year 1953 and the college holds the credit of being the first educational institution to be established in the district of Kachchh in Gujarat. The college is offering courses in the arts and science faculties with affiliation from the Kachchh University.

Campus of the college:

The campus of Shri Ramji Ravi Lalan College is spread over an area of 16 acres of land, there is a large hostel for boys in the college with 40 rooms and a girls’ hostel has also been recently built with 22 rooms. The college also has quarters for its staff members and 10 class III quarters, 12 professors’ quarters, a bungalow for the Principal and two bungalows for Rector.

Activities at the college:

The college frequently conducts many cultural events to encourage students to actively participate and develop their cultural abilities. The college has recently grabbed 18 medals in the college level competitions held by the Kachchh University. The students of the college also participate in inter-university games and sports like football, handball, kabaddi, khokho, tennis, badminton and cricket.

Campus Interviews:

During the previous academic year, the college arranged for five campus interviews and some of the companies like Ashapura Minechem Limited, Adani Wilmar Limited, Jindal Saw Pipes Limited, SAL Steel Limited and Solaris Chemetch were invited to conduct campus interviews and these companies selected appropriate talents from the college.
