Central Reserve Police Force was formed on July 27, 1939 under the Government of India. The force is actually a paramilitary security agency which performs all its functions under the aegis of Ministry of Home Affairs. The primary role of the force is to assist the state territories in police operations to maintain law and order. Thye force played a major role in the security arrangements at the time of Paramilitary elections of September 1999. The force actually came into existnce under the Central Reserve Police Force Atc, 1949. Initially, it was established as Crown Representative Police.

Job Profile:

Applications are invited from eligible Male Indian citizens for filling up the vacancies of following ranks i.e. Sub Inspector and Assistant Sub Inspector in Central Reserve Police Force. The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent. Selected candidates will be liable to serve anuwhere in India as well as in abroad.

1. Recruitment of Sub Inspector (Radio Operator):
No. of posts: Only 10 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be below 30 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

2. Recruitment of Sub Inspector (Crypto):
No. of posts: Only 4 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be below 30 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

3. Recruitment of Sub Inspector (Technical):
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Candidate’s age should be below 30 years.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

4. Recruitment of Assistant Sub Inspector (Technical):
No. of posts: Only 63 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 18 to 25 years of age.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2800.

5. Recruitment of Assistant Sub Inspector (Draughtsman):
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be in between 18 to 25 years of age.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 2800.

Application Fee:

An application fee of Rs. 100 is need to be submitted in the form of Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of COMMANDANT, ________ SIGNAL BN, CRPF payable at GPO of respective city where signal battalion located. No fee is to be submitted by candiates belonging to SC/ST categories.
