Rao is the Joint General Manager of the corporation. The headquarter of the institute is located at Visakhapatnam. The institute has also been awarded with the status of Miniratna. Job Profile:

Applications in the prescribed format are invited from eligible candidates for the vacant positions of Surveyor and Assistants in Dredging Corporation of India Limited. Only eligible Indian Nationals are invited to apply for the specified positions.

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

Surveyor: Candidates are required to possess Diploma in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Survey Engineering or equivalent. Minimum three years experience in handling and maintanence of all types of surveyor instruments, is also required.

Assistant: Canddiates should have passed Graduation degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Minimum one year experience of working with computers is also required.

Surveyor: Only 10 posts are available. (General-7, OBC-2 and ST-1)
Assistants: Only 22 posts are available. (General-10, SC-4, OBC-6, ST-1, PWD-1)

Pay Scale:

Surveyor: Consolidated salary of Rs. 12050-29450 per month.
Assistants: Consolidated salary of Rs. 10780-26410 per month.

Candidates are required to pay the non refundable application fee of Rs. 200 only. Application fee is not applicable to candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories.
