CMPDI calls for applications from eligible candidates for the positions of Surveyor (Civil) & Junior Scientific Assistant (Grade-II).

Names of the positions: Surveyor (Civil) & Junior Scientific Assistant (Grade-II)

Total Number of Vacancies: 31

• Surveyor (Civil) – 15 (General-08, OBC – 04, SC – 02 and SC – 01)

• Junior Scientific Assistant – 16 (General-07, OBC – 05, SC – 02 and SC – 02)

Pay Scale:

• Surveyor (Civil) – Basic pay of Rs. 10,127.70

• Junior Scientific Assistant – Basic Pay of Rs. 9,367.07

Candidates selected for the above positions will be paid with an annual increment of 3% of basic pay towards pension, provident fund, gratuity, VDA, SDA. They will also be offered with other fringe benefits like conveyance reimbursement, LTC/LLTC, free medical treatment and house rent allowance if quarters is not provided.

Eligibility requirement:

Educational Qualification:

• Surveyor (Civil)  – For this position candidates must have completed their matriculation or equivalent and should have done a course in civil surveying from an approved technical institution

• Junior Scientific Assistant – Candidates must have completed their Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and preference will be given to candidates with experience in the relevant field.

Age Requirement: Lower age limit for both positions is 18 years and upper age limit is 33 years for OBC candidates, 30 years for general category candidates and 35 years for SC/ST candidates as on the last date of submission of application (i.e.) 20th June 2011.

Selection process:

Candidates will be selected for both positions based on their performance in the written test and personal interview. Only the candidates succeeding the written test will be called for interview after publishing the results in the website of CMPDI.
