Pallavan Grama Bank was established on 31.08.2006 with the financial support offered by the Indian Bank. The bank was formed by bringing together Adhiyaman Grama Bank belonging to the Dharmapuri District of Tamil Nadu and Vallalar Grama Bank belonging to Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu.

Pallavan Grama Bank has invited applications from eligible Indian candidates for the post of Office Scale I and Officer Scale II:

Name of the position: Office Scale – I & Officer Scale - II

Total Number of Vacancies: 29 (Officer Scale I – 6 Vacancies, Officer Scale II - 23)

Pay Scale:

• Officer Scale – I: Rs. 14500-25700 and other allowances as per the bank rules

• Officer Scale – II: Rs. 19400-28100 and other allowances as per the bank rules

Eligibility requirement:

Educational qualification:

Officer Scale I: Candidates must have completed their UG degree from a recognized university in any discipline and preference will be given to candidates with degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy

Officer Scale II: Scale II officers will be recruited for four different departments namely information technology, chartered accountants, law officer and general banking officer. For both positions, candidates must be proficient in Tamil language and preference will be given to candidates with computer knowledge.

Age requirement:

Officer Scale I: 18-28 years

Officer Scale II: 21-32 years

Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be selected for both positions, based on the performance in written test and interview. The written test will be conducted for 200 marks and there will be negative marking for each wrong answer. The written test is planned to be held on 07th of August 2011 for both positions.
