Swift Institute of Nursing works under the control of the Swift Fundamental Research and Education Society (SFRES) and it is affiliated to the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences.

The undergraduate programmes available in the college are B Sc (Nursing) and B Sc Nursing (Post Basic).

The Diploma course available in the college is G.N.M (Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery).

The Post Graduate course available in the college is M Sc (Nursing).

Eligibility criteria for getting admission:

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination (science stream) with 45% aggregate marks are eligible to apply for the B.Sc. Nursing courses. The candidates who have successfully passed the General Nursing & Midwifery (G.N.M) course are eligible to apply for the Post Basic B. Sc Nursing course. In order to get admission for the both the B. Sc Nursing courses in the college, they must get qualified in the Punjab Para Medical Entrance Test (PPMET).

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination (science stream) with at least 45% aggregate marks are eligible to apply for the G.N.M diploma course in the college. The admission is based on the merit in the qualifying examination.

Candidates who have successfully passed the B. Sc Nursing degree/ B.Sc. Nursing Post Basic degree are eligible to apply for the M Sc (Nursing) course. In order to get admission for the M Sc (Nursing) course in the college, the candidates must get qualified in the PMNET entrance exam conducted by the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences.
