Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) is conducted for admission to MBA and MCA courses in Universities/Colleges of Andhra Pradesh. Syllabus for the test is based on topics of analytical ability, mathematical ability, and communication ability. Topics on data sufficiency and problem solving are asked for the section for analytical ability where as arithmetical ability, trigonometry, and statistical ability are asked for mathematical ability section.

Section- A — Analytical Ability

Data Sufficiency

The section comprises of 75 questions for 75 marks. The first section is data sufficiency that consists of 20 questions for 20 marks. In these types of questions, there will be two statements followed by two options. If option-I or option II alone is sufficient to answer the question, then that choice is the right answer. Sometimes both the options are necessary to answer a question or neither statement is sufficient.

Problem Solving

There are 55 questions in this section. Questions are asked from the following topics.
