The Takshila Institute of Technology is located in Sharda Mata Mandir Road in Shaheed Gulab Singh Ward in Madan Mahal in Jabalpur in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The local and a more popular acronym for the college is TIT. It is a private institution and started in the year 2004. it has the AICTE approval and is associated to Rajiv Gandhi Technical University.

The admission is done on the basis of the score obtained in AIEEE examination.

Courses Offered

The college only offers Undergraduate programs in engineering in various disciplines which include Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 60 seats, Mechanical Engineering with 60 allotments, Computer Science & Engineering with 90 available seats and Electronics & Communication Engineering with an intake of 120. No provision of any post graduate program is there. The maximum intake for all the departments is maintained as per a prior specification of AICTE.

The library is quite well stocked with a collection of 20000 books for all the subjects of all departments, CD-ROMs and journals.
