The French Paper II of Tamil Nadu Matriculation Exam is a 100 marks paper based on grammar and translation. The paper is to be answered in two and half hours. The questions in the paper involve choose the right alternative, write opposites of the following, solve the grammar like imperative forms, past and future forms, demonstrative adjectives etc. There is a question which asks you to translate the given sentence or test into French from English and vive versa. There is a match the following question as well. All the questions carry different amount of marks.

Besides, all the questions in the paper are compulsory. There is no negative marking on the paper so you are free to attempt all questions without the fear of losing marks on incorrect ones. Most of the questions in the paper carry a single mark for a single response. However, the translation questions are awarded more marks. It is a relatively easy paper and has to be answered in French language only. Make sure to read and understand the questions thoroughly before answering them.
