Indira Gandhi National Tribal University mainly aims to cater the dream of higher education for the tribals. The university was established under the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Act, 2007. Professor C. D. Singh was appointed as the first chancellor of the university in the year 2008. The university is fully funded by the Central Government. The major objective of the university is to provide higher education facilities primarily for the tribal population of India. The university is located at Amarkantak, Madhya Pradesh.

Application Fee:

Rs. 200 is the amount of application fee that is need to be submitted by the General and OBC candidates. However, the amount of application fee for the candidates belonging to SC/ST categories, is Rs. 100 only. The application fee should be paid in the form of a Demand Draft only.
