The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (AP PSC) was established under Article 315 (1) of the Constitution of India. The commission has a chairman and nine members, and is serviced by an office including secretary, additional secretary, deputy secretaries, assistant secretaries and other supporting staffs. It is mainly involved in selecting candidates for different state civil services posts.

Job Profile:

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (AP PSC) invites applications for the post of Technical Assistants for various disciplines in Groundwater Subordinate Services.

No. of posts – Total number of posts is 25 and this is divided among the departments as follows: Technical Assistants (Geophysics) - 10; Technical Assistants (Hydrology) - 5; Technical Assistants (Hydrogeology) -10

P ay Scale – Rs. 9285 – 21550

Eligibility:

Age Criteria: Minimum age limit is 18 yrs and maximum age limit is 39 yrs (Relaxable as per rules).

Educational Qualification: Degree in M.Sc. or M.Sc.(Tech.), M.Tech. or its equivalent in the relevant field from a university or U.G.C recognized institution. For further details about the educational qualification refer the commission’s website.

Selection Process:

The selection of the post is through written examination and interview.

Eligible interested candidates must apply online through AP PSC’s website www.apspsc.gov.in, after paying the application and examination fee. Only online application is allowed and Hand Written/Typed/Photostat Copies/Printed Application Form will not be accepted.

Application Fee:

Candidates must pay Rs. 25 (Application Processing Fee) + Rs. 80 (Examination Fee). The candidates must pay the prescribed fee in any one of the A.P. Online centers / State Bank of India. SC/ST candidates are excluded from paying the examination fee.
