Teerthanker Mahaveer College of Architecture came into existence in the year 2010 as a constituent unit of Teerthanker Mahaveer University located in Moradabad. The purpose behind the establishment of this college is to train the students by offering them exposure to live circumstances, situations and problems. The college follows interdisciplinary approach of teaching through comprehension tests, assignments, discussions, side talks and lectures.

As the name of the college implies, Teerthanker Mahaveer College of Architecture offers courses in the field of architecture and the courses offered are:

• Bachelor of Architecture

• Master of Architecture

Eligibility Criteria:

For seeking admission to the Master of Architecture course offered by Teerthanker Mahaveer college of Architecture, candidates must have completed their Bachelor of Architecture from an institution recognized by the Council of Architecture. For seeking admission to the Bachelor of Architecture course, candidates must have completed their higher secondary in any stream with mathematics as a subject and must have secured not less than 50% of aggregate marks. Even candidates who have completed their three-year diploma in any stream of engineering with not less than 50% of marks can apply for B. Arch course provided they qualify in any of the Architecture Aptitude Test being SET/AIEEE/NATA.

Selection Criteria:

As far as M. Arch course is concerned, admission is done based on the merit secured by the candidates in the qualifying examination. For Bachelor of Arch courses, candidates are selected based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination and in Architecture Aptitude Test conducted by the Architecture Council.

Teerthanker University normally invites applications from eligible candidates for admission to the different professional courses offered through its constituent colleges. Candidates seeking admission to the Bachelor of Architecture course will have to fill up the application form coming along with the brochure issued by the university at the cost of Rs.600 and this brochure can be obtained from the admission cell of the university.

Even, candidates can get the application form through speed post by sending a request letter along with DD for Rs.600 drawn in favor of Teerthanker University payable at Moradabad to the Director – Admissions, Teerthanker Mahaveer University by clearly mentioning the name, address and phone number of the applicant on the back of the DD. Even candidates can download the application form from the website of the university. In this case, duly filled in application along with DD for Rs.600 must be sent to the same address mentioned above addressing the Director-Admissions.
