Job Profile:

Bharat Electronics Limited requires eligible Indian Nationals for filling up the vacant positions of Tehsil Level Database Administrator and District Level Database Administrator. The requirement of suitable candidates will be made purely on contract basis for a period of one year only. Selected candidates will be placed in its Smartscards Division - Components SBU across Karnataka State for the company’s project on the data collection of Census.

Eligibility:

All candidates are required to fulfill the age criteria set for both the posts of Tehsil Level Database Administrator and District Level Database Administrator in Bharat Electronics Limited. Interested General candidates are required to have age less than 25 years as on 1 November 2011. OBC candidates should have age less than 22 years while SC/ST/PWD candidates are required to have age less than 20 years as on 1 November 2011.

Educational Qualification:

Tehsil Level Database Administrator: Candidates must have done B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Science of Information Technology or Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Telecommunication or Mechanical or Instrumentation Technology. Candidates with MCA or M.Sc degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or Information Science are also eligible for the post.

District Level Database Administrator: Candidates must have done B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Science of Information Technology or Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication, mechanical or Instrumentation Technology. Candidates with MCA or M.Sc degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or Information Science are also eligible for the post. Minimum 60% marks in aggregate is required to be obtained by the candidates in their respective degree.

Pay Scale: For both the specified positions, selected candidates will be given the consolidated salary of Rs. 12000 per month.

Selection Process:

Those candidates, who fulfills all the eligibility conditions stated above, will have to undergo two stages of the selection process. Candidates will first have to appear in a written test and then in an interview. Both the tests will be held on the same day i.e. 20 November 2011.
