Test of Essential Academic Skills is a Pre-entry test carries out for the aspiring candidates to get admission into the School of Nursing. TEAS is an online test which will be conducted on the month of January and July for the admission into Nursing School. Candidate must have ample skills in the field of Reading, Mathematics, Science and English. Candidate has to score around 70 % of mark from the examination. The Test is monitored by ATI, (Assessment Technologies Institute)

Structure of TEAS Test

TEAs consist of 170 questions in a multiple choice format. The total time available for the test is 209 minutes (3 hours and 29 minutes) and no break is allowed.

Eligibility Criteria

• The student’s score must be more than 72% in TEAS test in order to get admission into   Nursing School.
• Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Candidate should have medical Terminology with 80% or higher percentage.

Candidate should appear for the interview only after all the eligibility criteria’s are satisfied

How to Apply?

The candidates have to avail the application form by themselves. The application form can either be downloaded or can be collected personally. Complete the TEAS registration form and submit with payment to a Testing & Scanning staff member in 1130 E. (person).University Dr., Suite 204, Tempe. At that time you will be given an admission ticket. After the form is availed, it is needed to be filled up. All the necessary details has to be filled and should be sent back before the last date of submission.

How to fill the Form?

When the fees are paid, candidates will be asked to visit the official website of TEAS for applying online. A scanned signature and photo on the required format and size (50kb) should be attached with the form. The cost for registering in TEAS is 50$. Candidates must upload the DD no on the required space and keep the fee payment information with them. The candidates must carefully read the instruction in the portal and only after reading they should start filling the application. It is advisable to fill each box with black pen.  The needed instructions were given in the official portal and the candidates can follow those.

Test scores will be available online soon after the completion of exam at www.atitesting.com .the candidate can log in to the ATI website to obtain your test scores. If the candidate unfortunately forgot his/her username/password or if they do not find test scores, you must contact ATI at their phone number that can be finding from their websites.

Score Validity

Once the test is passed with more than 72%, its validity will remain for 2 years.
