Test of Essential Academic Skills is Pre-entry test conducted for admission into School of Nursing. TEAS will be held in January for offering admission to the aspiring candidates. TEAS is an online test. For admission into Nursing School, Candidate has to score around 70 %. Exam will be conducted twice in a year, in January and in July.

Apart from that, recent developments in the medical fields have also enhanced the prospects in this sector. That is probably another reason that more and more people are coming up with the choice of pursuing a career in Nursing. TEAS is a very good substitute or better say a way to judge amongst the aspirants the best suitable for the nursing career. In this way it brings best people for the work in the nursing sector.

How to Apply:

The candidates require availing the application form for themselves. The form can either be downloaded or can be collected in person. After the form is availed, it is needed to be filled up by all the necessary details and is required to be sent back before the last date of submission.

Examination Pattern:

• TEAS will comprise of 170 objective type questions. The objective type questions are generally provided with four or less options. Out of the options, only one option is the correct answer of the question and rest options are present there to confuse the applicants.

• Entrance Test will comprise of following subjects:

Mathematics (45 questions)
Science (30 questions)
English (55 questions)
Reading (40 questions)

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidate must achieve more than 72% score in TEAS for getting admission into Nursing School.
• Candidate must possess either a high school diploma or GED.
• Candidate must have medical Terminology with 80% or higher.
• Candidate who satisfies all the eligibility criteria has to appear for the interview.
