Admission Process for Under Graduate Courses in Banasthali University

Aspirants having completed HSC are eligible for Under Graduate admission. The qualification must be obtained either from Banasthali University or any recognized University of India. For admission to B.A course, no percentage requirements are mandatory. But for B.Sc Home Science and Bachelor of Design programs, a minimum of 50% marks in XII class is required. Candidates interested in B.Sc Mathematics/BCA course, must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in qualifying examination (under science stream). Admission to these courses is offered on the basis of merit only.

Graduates with at least 50% marks from any recognized University are eligible for B.Ed program. Admission process is carried out on the basis of an entrance test, comprising questions from reasoning ability, reading comprehension, and general awareness (with special reference to the developments and trends in the field of education). Qualified candidates can seek admission to the course after counseling.

B.Tech admissions are also done on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the University. Those candidates having 60% marks in XII class examination can attend the entrance test. Such candidates must have completed the course with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects. Entrance test is conducted as a single paper test, comprising of three different sections. Question pattern for the test is as follows

• Section A —- Physics & Chemistry
• Section B —- Mathematics/ Biology
• Section C —- Logical Reasoning

The same test is conducted for admission to B.Pharm course also. Aspirants who have pursued 12th class in science stream, with Biology as an optional subject can apply for B.Pharm course. Such candidates must answer Biology in Section B, instead of Mathematics. Mathematics section is meant for engineering aspirants. Qualified candidates in entrance test are selected after counseling and certificate verification process.
