National Institute of Technology Calicut – School of Management Studies conducts an admission process for admission to its 2 year Master in Business Administration (MBA) Program. NIT-Calicut is considered one of the best engineering institutes in India since a long time. In 2008 it started an MBA program specially designed for students with an engineering degree. The institute provides very good infrastructure and facilities for management aspirants as well.

Candidates are shortlisted for MBA program of NIT-SOMS Calicut is on the basis of their CAT/JMET scores. Therefore for admission in MBA program of NIT-Calicut candidates have to appear for either CAT/JMET. The candidates who are shortlisted on the basis of their scores in the CAT/JMET have to appear in a further selection process consisting of Group Discussion and Personal Interview after which the final selections are made.

Eligibility criteria:

A candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology or equivalent from a recognized institute and a valid CAT/JMET score. Candidates in their final year of engineering can also apply. These respective candidates are although also advised to provide a certificate of pass after the month of September of the ensuing year of the admission. Failure to do so may lead to cancellation of the admission itself.

The candidates have to download and then fill up the application form and then send as per the direction instructed in the web page. Selection process:
