Admission test for engineering in Nagpur:
Admission of students to the engineering courses in the city of Nagpur, which belongs to the state of Maharashtra is MHT-CET examination, which stands for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test. To take admission to the autonomous institutions for engineering courses, candidates must secure not less than 110 marks in this examination. Some percentage of seats are also filled through AIEEE score and even some universities and institutions conduct their own entrance test for admission of students to the different branches of engineering courses.
Eligibility for taking up MHT-CET examination:
For taking up MHT-CET examination, candidates must be Indian citizens and they should have completed their higher secondary examination from the state board of secondary or higher secondary education in the state of Maharashtra with mathematics, chemistry, physics and English subjects securing not less than 50% of marks (45% for backward category candidates).
