The course covers fields that are related to human genome and its different aspects in the molecular form. The course also covers the aspects of structure along with function of the human genetics. Furthermore, detailed knowledge of the meiosis cell division and the spread of diseases in the pedigrees and pertaining full length stress on the human wings. The course persists on the integrated study of the human molecular genetics and its different applications.

Eligibility:

The candidates that are willing to undertake this course have to attain a minimum of 45% in their bachelor level degree belonging to the same discipline or different discipline. This is the general cut off in most of the institutes offering this course in India. Furthermore, the candidates Higher Secondary Examination level marks are also tallied in some institutes.

Course Outlook:

The duration of the course is about two years; however few colleges even offer a three year scholarship course. The course is available in both part time as well as full time. But the previously mentioned form is available in few colleges only.

Job Prospects:

The candidates that have undertaken this course can find research oriented career opportunities in the Human Molecular Genetics fields. Furthermore, they can also exploit the area of Gene Expression and RNA Transcription.
