Educational Qualification:
For MBBS admission, candidates must have completed their two-year PUC examination conducted by the state board of Karnataka with mathematics, biology, chemistry and physics as optional subjects or any other examination approved by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Candidates must also have secured 50% of marks in the above-mentioned subjects (for SC/ST candidates it is 40% of marks). For admission to the PG diploma/degree courses, candidates must have completed their MBBS from an institution recognized by Medical Council of India with one-year compulsory internship in any institution approved by the medical council. Candidates must also have obtained permanent registration from any state medical council. For the Ph. D admission, candidates must have obtained master’s degree in appropriate subjects. For the para-medical diploma courses, candidates must have completed their PUC of equivalent examination in science subject and even candidates who have completed their SSLC can apply for the para-medical diploma courses offered by JSS Medical College.
