University profile: Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University was founded in the year 1964. It is the largest and the oldest university in Chhattisgarh state. It offers a variety of courses, has 29 teaching departments and a large no. of facilities. It is spread over 200 acres of land. It is a highly reputed and it is known for its quality faculty and education.

Job profile: The responsibilities of the lecturers include imparting quality education to the students and give them the competitive edge. They will be responsible for guiding the students on the right track and help them in any kind of difficulty faced by them. They will also be required to prepare examination papers.

Educational Qualifications: A candidate must possess the educational qualifications as stated in the norms of AICTE or UGC or as per the norms of state govt. department of higher education and adopted by the university. A candidate must possess a relevant experience in the relevant specialty.

No. of posts: There are 51 posts in total. These posts are distributed as SC-9, OBC-5, ST-26 and UR-11.

Pay scale: The candidates will be given a fixed salary of Rs12800 per month plus other usual allowances as per the norms.

Selection process: The eligible candidates will be short listed and called for the interviews. The selections will be made on the basis of qualification and experience and most importantly on the performance of an individual during the interview.

How to apply: The eligible and interested candidates are required to apply on a plain A4 size paper with all the details of their essential particulars. They are also required to send the copies of their certificates. All the applications must reach the registrar of the university. The name of post applied must be written on top of the envelope.
