Exam Centers and Application Process for NDA exam
Patna, Ranchi, Cuttack, etc are some of the NDA exam centers located towards eastern part of the country. Candidates of southern zone can opt for centers like Bangalore, Kochi, Chennai, as well. Applicant can mention their preferred center at the time of application submission itself. Applications can be forwarded only through online method, via the official portal of UPSC.

Candidate should indicate their choice of exam centers at the time of application process. There is no provision to change the exam center in future. Anyway, exam centers are liable to change at the discretion of UPSC. Exam center allotted to the candidate will be notified in their hall ticket. Time and venue will also be indicated in the admit card. Applicant should reach the exam center in their own risk and expense.
Application Process for NDA exam
Application for NDA exam can be submitted only through online method. This can be forwarded through the official web portal of UPSC. There will be two stages for application process, Part I and Part II. After completing Part I, one can move to Part II. Application form must be filled by following the directions given in the website. Pop up menus containing instructions will help aspirant in filling application with out difficulty.
Before submitting the application through online method, candidates are required to pay the application fee. Application fee is Rs. 50/-. Fee can be paid through any branches of SBI or via any of the electronic transaction methods. Another thing to note before forwarding the application is regarding photo and signature. Scanned copy of photo and signature of prescribed size must be made ready. This must be uploaded along with the application form. Applicant must possess valid e-mail id also. Details on examination will be indicated to the candidate via E-mail.
Applications must be submitted on time, as indicated in the notification. Late applications will not be entertained. Moreover multiple applications from a candidate will not be accepted. In such cases, application with higher RID will be considered by UPSC.
