Admission Process for Under Graduate Courses in Orissa University of Agriculture & Technology

Those who have completed 10 +2 class studies with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology as subjects are eligible for admission. Candidate must possess minimum 50% marks in the qualifying exam. Those belonging to reserved category need to have 40% marks only. Age of the candidate must not be less than 17 years.

Selection Process for Under Graduate Courses in Orissa University of Agriculture & Technology

Selection to the courses is done on the basis of a common entrance exam conducted by the University. The academic performance of the candidate as well as their skill in cultural activities is also taken in to consideration for admission. If two candidates score the same mark in the entrance test, then the tie will be resolved by selecting the candidate having high marks in HSC exam.

The selection test consists of 200 questions which must be completed with in 2 hours time duration. The total marks for the test is 200. Medium of the test will be English. Questions for the test will be asked from the following topics

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Mathematics/Biology

Physics and Chemistry papers will carry 66 marks each and Mathematics/Biology papers would be for 68 marks.

Application form for attending the common entrance test can be collected from the sale centers as mentioned by the University  The application form cum prospectus can be collected from these centers by paying an amount of Rs. 550/-. Application fee can be paid as DD drawn in favor of the Controller of Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology. DD must be payable at any nationalized bank located in Bhubaneswar. Application form collected may contain two parts, Form A and Form B. Form A is for entrance test and Form B for furnishing details on educational qualifications, extra curricular activities like sports, arts, etc. Filled application forms must be submitted to the address of OUAT before final date.
