Madhya Pradesh board is a government board responsible for organizing state board examinations. This is a very old state board. This board was established in the year 1965. This board prescribes the syllabus for the examination. Sociology is an important paper under the arts stream in the class 12 board examinations. Scoring well in this paper requires a deep knowledge of the subject as well as full-fledged   idea about the previous years’ question paper. How the paper looks like?

All the questions are required to be answered. No choices are available for the student. Questions 1 to 5 are objective type and each question carries 5 marks. Each broad question has sub questions which are objective type. Questions 6 to 12 are long answer type and carry 4 marks each. Questions 13 to 19 are of 5 mark each and questions 20 and 21 carries 6 marks. Every question may have a sub question. It is important to answer all the sub questions in the order given in the question paper. Full mark for this subject is 100.
