Cochin University of Science and Technology was founded in the in the year 1971. Originally, it was The University of Cochin. It was in the year 1986 February, it was reorganized as Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). CUSAT has entered into educational collaborations and exchange programmes with many famous institutes across the USA, Europe, Russia, Japan, France, Korea etc. It is a one of the very famous university in India.

Educational Qualifications:

Good academic record with at least 55% marks or, an equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the 7 point scale with latter grades O, A, B, C, D, E & F at the Masters Degree level in Geology. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the eligibility test (NET) for lecturers conducted by the UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC
