Indian Institute of Plantation Management is an apex educational institution located at Bangalore, India. The institute was set up by the Government of India. The major objective of the institute is to provide research, training and education in the field of agriculture. The institute perfoms all its functions or operations under Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. The institute was started off with the aim of providing the management education in the pantation sector. The institute actually came into existence in the year 1993 after the core group’s recommendations were accepted.

Job Profile:

Indian Institute of Plantation Management is looking forward to fill up the following vacant positions of Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor in the field of Management or related disciplines. Candidates with oustanding research, academic and executive management education programmes are invited to apply for the specified positions. Candidates will be recruited on deputation or contractual basis for a period of two years only.

Eligibility:

Interested candidates are required to fulfill all the eligibility conditions set for the post of Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor in Indian Institute of Plantation Management. Candidates are required to have age less than the prescribed maximum age limit set for the post.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have done Ph.D. in the concerned field from a recognized institute or university with successful track record of research. Candidates should also possess atleast 8 years of experience in the field of research or teaching. All interested candidates are required to possess this prescribed educational qualification. Candidates with qualification less than the prescribed one, are advised to not to apply in Indian Institute of Plantation Management.

Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the prescribed amount of salary under the Pay Band-III i.e. Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 7600/6600.
