The N.C. Institute of Technology was previously called as N.C. College of Engineering for Women and the institute was established in the year 2008. The institute belongs to the NCCE Group of Institutions and the courses offered by the college are affiliated to the Kurkshetra University.

Bachelor of Technology in

Admission capacity:

The N.C. Institute of Technology is approved with an intake capacity of 120 students per year for the Computer Science & Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering and for mechanical engineering course the admission capacity is 60 students per year. On the other hand, for information technology, admission capacity is 72 students per year and 24 students per year for the branch of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Therefore, the total intake capacity of the institution is 396 students per year.

Eligibility requirement:

Minimum Eligibility requirement for seeking admission to the Bachelor of Technology course is that candidates must have completed their higher secondary with not less than 50% of aggregate marks in mathematics, chemistry and physics subjects from a recognized university or board with mathematics and physics as compulsory subjects along with any one of biology/computer science/biotechnology/chemistry. Candidates with thee-year diploma course from the Haryana state board of technical education or three-year degree course from a recognized university are eligible to seek admission directly to the second year of the B. Tech courses. Admission of students will be based on the merit secured by them in qualifying examination like AIEEE or equivalent engineering entrance examination.

Additional courses:

The instructions offered at the institute are not confined to the curriculum of the university and there is special provision for different additional courses that can be of great use to the students in their practical life. At present, the institute offers the following additional courses to its students:

Personality development

Yoga and gymnasium

Foreign languages

Techniques of communication skills


Computer language certification

Students of the institute are offered with the facility for joining these additional courses along with their main course of B. Tech according to the curriculum prescribed by the Kurukshetra University.
