1. Recruitment of Professor:
No. of posts: Only 4 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D degree from any recognized university with atleast 10 years of experience in the field of research and teaching.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

2. Recruitment of Associate Professor:
No. of posts: Only 8 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D degree from any recognized university with atleast 6 years of experience in the field of research and teaching.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 9000.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
No. of posts: Only 12 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree from any recognized university with atleast 3 years of experience in the field of research and teaching.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

Application Fee:

Rs. 500 is the amount of application fee that is need to be paid by General and OBC categories candidates. SC/ST/PH/Women candidates are not required to pay any kind of application fee. The application fee must be paid through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of CUTN, Thiruvarur payable at Thiruvarur, Tamilnadu, India.

Selection Process:

The selection process for all the above specified positions includes a Personal Interview Test with the selection committee. Candidates will have to perform well in the personal interview test for getting selected on the desired position in Central University of Tamil Nadu. Only successful candidates of the personal interview test will be considered at the time of making final selections on the specified position.
